I'm Alyssa Long, a product and visual designer based in San Francisco. I am constantly creating and inventing – at my local pottery studio, in my many Leuchtturm notebooks, and of course, in Figma. Designing beautiful solutions to complex problems energizes me endlessly, especially in collaboration with a team. My philosophy is to leave the digital world more beautiful, useful, and accessible than I found it.

I studied economics and art in college, got my start in communication design and marketing, and developed a love for product design along the way. I have worked freelance, in-house, and at a startup as a creative team of one, developing a range of multidisciplinary skills and a strong sense of adaptability, which comes in handy in the ever-evolving design world.

When I'm not at my desk, I'm exploring all of San Francisco's quirky wonders. I love thrift shopping for vintage treasures, painting, and reading with my senior kitty on my lap.
